The first St. Regis in the Dominican Republic, inside the Punta Espada golf course in Cap Cana, for the developers Campagna Ricart & Asociados and Pioneer Investment Funds.
TLDI managed the project from pre-construction through handover to Marriott, including design management, coordination with the brand and FF&E and OS&E procurement.
Scope of works
- 98,000 m² built over seven levels on a 64,906 m² site between the sea and the Punta Espada golf course, designed by Jack Nicklaus: 60,000 m² of resort with 200 hotel rooms and 38,000 m² with 70 branded residences, including a 2,000 m² circular penthouse
- Nine food and beverage venues including the St. Regis Bar & Cigar Club, a ballroom, the Iridium Spa with sea-view terraces, a five-storey cenote-inspired atrium and swim-up suites with private water gardens
- Underground service corridors and hidden technical courtyards so the resort operates without crossing guest circulation
- Separate power generation plants and MEP distribution systems for the hotel and the residences
