Newbuild all-inclusive resort in Cap Cana for Karisma Hotels & Resorts, opened in November 2021 under two brands on one site: Margaritaville Island Reserve for the American market and TUI Blue for the European one.
TLDI ran construction management across earthworks, vertical construction, finishes, infrastructure and back-of-house equipment. TLDI later managed its conversion to the Dreams brand, bringing public areas, guestrooms and back-of-house to brand standard.
Scope of works
- New construction of 69,000 m² and 519 keys across two brands on one site
- Twelve themed bars and restaurants with more than 8,540 m² of dining space, and a 2,000 m² spa with 14 treatment rooms
- Almost 6,000 m² of pools, swim-ups and lagoons, plus sports center, amphitheater, kids club and cinema
- Central generation plant and full back-of-house building
